Listen to Reina Ueda's Beautiful Lyrical Voice in "Maerchen Maedchen" ED Song MV

Following the image song “Daremo Watashi wo Shiranai Sekai he” (To The World where Nobody Knows about Me) released in August, 23-year-old anime voice actress Reina Ueda performs the ED song “sleepland” for the upcoming TV anime Maerchen Maedchen, in which she is also cast as one of the main characters, the UK team’s Arthur Pendragon. Her record company Lantis posted a full music video for the song on its official YouTube channel today.


The fantasy TV anime featuring magical girls gathered from all over the world and their team battles in the “Hexennacht” competition is animated by Hoods Entertainment (If Her Flag Breaks, A Good Librarian Like a Good Shepherd) and is set to premiere on AT-X, BS11, and Tokyo MX on January 11, 2018.

Ueda made her professional voice actress debut in 2012 and is best known as Mobuko Sonota in

Tesagure! Bukatsu-mono (2013-2015), Naru Sekiya in Hanayamata (2015), and Hane Sakura in

Bakuon!! (2016). While singing many character songs for such titles, she released her first mini

album as a solo singer herself, “RefRain” in December 2016. “sleepland” will be released as her

first solo single on February 7, 2018.
